What do Bexhill Lions do?

Bexhill Lions contribute to the welfare of the local and international community, but there’s a lot more to it than that.

Bexhill Lions collect and use the generous donations from Bexhill citizens to respond to local needs, with recent examples including local youth and sports clubs needing help with equipment costs, contributing towards special equipment for the disabled, helping fund respite opportunities for carers, encouraging local youngsters (and some not so young!) to participate in welfare activities in Britain and abroad, and so on.

Together with other local Lions Clubs, we hold events for the less privileged, such as the annual Christmas show for the elderly, and a “Special Knockout” afternoon enjoyed by all. Also, every year Bexhill Lions donate to local Youth organisations to help improve their facilities and encourage the work they do with local youngsters, and support a Peace Poster competition with local schools.
